United Campus Ministry at FSU

 Volunteer service activities and opportunities can be transforming to those who participate while at the same time transform others' lives and situations. We believe that each of us are called to be Christ's hands and feet in this world to make adifference in our world today. Together we will experience both action and reflection in our call to actively live out a faith that does justice, loves mercy and expresses compassion. Our Vice President, Nick Ortiz is the coordinator of all our Mission and Service Fundraisers and events. He would love hear your ideas and passions for making a difference in our world. Join his team and lets change small parts of this world with compassion and commitment. 

• Mission Retreat- TBA. This retret will be an opportunity to experience a ministry dealing with pverty.  Cost is usually $25.

Volunteer to be a UCM Leader

Deep Creek Lake Bowling at The Alley. UCM first Leadership meeting is Sept 1.  For this meeting our Leaders are celebrate the beginning of another ministry year with a fun outing.  Prospective new leaders, we met at Preview, are also invited so we can get to know them.  FREELunch will be included.  In addition to Bowling other fun options are: Pool Tables, Air Hockey, Ping Pong, Shuffleboard, and Arcade games (bring extra money if you want to explore more than bowling). Don’t like to bow? -- just hang out and get to know each other and cheer for your team.  This event is Free. 

Chaplain would like for you to come to Church with her that morning – leaving from van lot at 10:15 am.  We will then pick up any late sleepers at 11:45 am in the van lot and depart for our Sunday afternoon Leadership Team Outing, and group builder.  Returning to campus by 5:00ish pm.
